Welcome to Kumah Farms Complex
Welcome to Kumah Farms Complex. Martin Kwaku Kumah, the owner and managing director of Kumah Farms Complex Training Institute was born on 26th April, 1961 in Kumasi. His grandmother first introduced him into Farming in 1972 during his primary education at Duayawnkwanta. After completing his primary education he joined Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) and trained as an auto-mechanic. While at KTI, Martin was already producing taro, growing sugarcane and rearing rabbits.
After graduating from KTI, he joined Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as an auto-mechanic and was later promoted to become the university’s transport officer as a result of his dedication and hard work. Martin continued his agricultural pursuits along his duties as the university’s transport officer. He acquired a farm at Anwomaso and continued with poultry, small game and crop farming. In 1998, he was adjudged the best farmer in the Kumasi Metropolis and given the Best Metropolis Award. Due to this honor and his continued service to the community, the Anwomaso Chief enstooled him as the Nkosohene of Anwomaso and was bestowed the stool name Nana Kwaku Siaw in January 2008. Subsequently Nana Kwaku Siaw secured a land in the Anwomaso Domeabra rural area to undertake a full time farming on 15th February, 1999 and later resigned from KNUST as the transport officer in 2001.
